10 Minutes of BioShock Infinite Gameplay (Plus Screens)

The BioShock Infinite gameplay demo video Irrational Games wowed press with behind closed doors at Gamescom has been posted to Xbox.com and Xbox Live for an exclusive 24-hour period, and of course it didn’t take long for the video to find itself on YouTube. Here’s the video, plus five screenshots. [Update] YouTube version replaced with the official video in higher quality.

The footage is highly impressive, almost too good to be true if you ask me. For a game this early in development (it won’t be ready for release until 2012), it looks way too polished and scripted to be 100% raw gameplay footage. I can’t help but think of the infamous Killzone 2 unveil trailer from years ago said to be gameplay but was later confirmed to be a target render. Is this something similar, or could it actually be real, live gameplay?

Either way, I already find myself even more excited for Infinite than either of the first two BioShocks — and the first two BioShocks are already two of my favorite games this gen!
