16 Games Confirmed for Nintendo 3DS Launch Day

Nintendo has previously said that over 30 games are scheduled for release during the Nintendo 3DS ‘launch window’ between March 27th and June. Today, we now know that 16 of those (Nintendo touts 18, but three different versions of nintendogs + cats should NOT count as three different games) will be available day and date with the handheld’s launch, and in the proud tradition of new system launches, the early game lineup is meager at best.

If you plan to pick up a 3DS on day one, these are the games you’ll have to choose from. See anything that gets you all hot and bothered? Personally, I’m eager to play Steel Diver, Street Fighter and Rayman 3D most of all, and am curious to see how Bust-A-Move Universe, Ghost Recon, Samurai Warriors and Pilotwings turn out. But that’s about it.
