250GB PS3 Coming November 3rd

Sony, like Microsoft with the Xbox 360, refuses to settle on having one PS3 SKU on the market. Hot on the heels of the recent launch of the slimmer, cheaper 120GB PS3, which has undoubtedly sparked increased sales of the console, Sony has confirmed plans to release a beefed up (but still slimline) PS3 with a 250GB hard drive.

The 250GB model is due on store shelves on November 3rd and will cost $349.99. So if $50 for an extra 130GB in storage strikes your fancy, sit tight a little longer before making your PS3 purchase.
