2Dark is a Stealth-Horror Adventure From the Creator of Alone in the Dark

Indie studio Gloomywood, led by French game designer Frédérick Raynal, who is known for creating Alone in the Dark and effectively the survival-horror genre as we now know it, has a new game of grim murder and spine-tingling chills on tap for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this year. It’s called 2Dark, and it’s described as being a mix of stealth and horror, starring a former detective named Mr. Smith who gets pulled into solving a case of child abuctions in the cursed city of Gloomywood after his own kids are taken and wife murdered. Poor guy.

A new trailer has emerged this week, and while it doesn’t show any gameplay, it does a bang up job of setting the scene for the storyline and showcasing the game’s incredible cutscene artwork. Put this one high up on your games-to-watch-for-in-2017 lists, survival-horror fans.
