SOE President to Unveil Brand New Game at Fan Faire
Sony Online Entertainment’s 2007 Fan Faire is set to begin this weekend (August 3-5) at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino in Vegas, and to kick the event off on Friday SOE President John Smedley will be providing an opening community address to the 1,000+ gamers in attendance. During this address, Smedley will not only give attendees the latest look at titles like Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising, Pirates of the Burning Sea, EverQuest: Secrets of Faydwer and EverQuest II: Rise of Kunark, he’ll also be unveiling a completely brand new SOE online game that is set to launch in late August. That doesn’t leave much time, so it’ll be interesting to see what the game is. We’ll report back as soon as all the details are released.
This new mystery title will be in playable demo form at the Fan Faire for guests to check out for the first time. The convention will also play host to an array of great live events including tournaments, contests, live quests and panel discussions.
