As you can see from the provided hardware shots, the Battery Charger is compatible with the PSP-1000 and PSP-2000, which makes it a perfect mate for the extended life battery. As far as availability and pricing details are concerned, I just heard back from SCEA a few minutes ago with confirmation that the charger is available now and retails for $34.99.
