Anyone else out there watch Ace of Cakes? It’s a reality show on the Food Network about a group of friends who work at a bakery together creating incredible cakes modeled after pretty much anything people ask (and pay) them to make. It’s a fun show, so start tuning in if you don’t already.
Anyway… In a recent episode, the Charm City Cakes team was tasked with creating a surprise birthday cake for Drew Carey’s son, a cake inspired by the LEGO Indiana Jones videogame!
The full episode is embedded below in two parts if you’d like to skim through and see how the cake came together. I’d say it turned out remarkably well, though I’m always amazed at what these guys are able to do with cake.
