Alone in the Dark Wii is Lookin’ Pretty Sharp

Really looking forward to the Xbox 360 (and PS3 down the road) version of Atari’s Alone in the Dark, but I honestly couldn’t care less about the Wii (and PS2) version. I mean, for a game that is so focused around its incredible lighting system and other “next-gen” tech, it’s hard to see the game working out as well on lesser hardware after seeing how atmospheric and creepy it is with all the bells and whistles in effect. Plus its development came after the originally announced 360, PC and PS3 versions and it’s being developed by another studio, and those two situations usually lead to bad things in ports. But I don’t know, after seeing these new screenshots from the Wii version, I’m now kinda interested in giving it a try, especially if Atari and Hydravision can squeeze some solid Wii Remote controls into it.
