An Updated Look at PlatinumGames’ Wii U Projects

Bayonetta

PlatinumGames sure is busy these days. Anarchy Reigns just recently dropped in North America (my review’s coming soon; it’s aight, but I would say Platinum’s weakest effort overall) and Metal Gear Rising is quickly picking up steam for its long-awaited launch next month. After that, it’s all Wii U, baby.

Platinum’s next projects include the Wii U dynamic duo of The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2, both of which made appearances via trailer during the Nintendo Direct web event earlier this week. Here are those videos:

The Wonderful 101 is on pace to ship sometime during the first half of 2013. Bayonetta 2 on the other hand still needs “more development time before details can be revealed.”

PlatinumGames is also the subject of the latest Iwata Asks interview feature, which can be read here.
