An Updated Look at the Dark Souls Pre-Order Limited Edition

Back at the beginning of May, Namco Bandai unveiled its Limited Edition set for Dark Souls, sweetening the deal by announcing that pre-ordered copies of the game would be upgraded to the LE at no additional charge. That means you get the game, a collectible metal case, a mini-strategy guide, a hardback art book, behind the scenes videos and the soundtrack at the regular $60 rate. Simply remarkable!

The mock image released with that announcement has been replaced this week, showing updated cover artwork and confirming that the videos, soundtrack and strategy guide will, in fact, be digital downloads instead of physical bonuses. That last part is a bit of a shame — CD soundtracks are my fav! — but it’s all free with pre-order, so I sure as hell won’t complain.
