With the 2015 Academy Awards set to go down on Sunday night, Nintendo is getting in on the fun a little early by recognizing certain Oscar-nominated films and actors in the Mushroom Kingdom spirit with awards based on the company’s popular characters and games. Oh Nintendo–you’re so clever!

So without further ado, let’s see who won! (Sound off in the comments if you have some other fun award ideas or think Nintendo snubbed any actors or movies.)

The Princess Peach Award, for best female costume in a movie, goes to… Maleficent!

The Samus Aran Award, for strongest female character, goes to… Olivia Evans – Boyhood!

The Smash Award, for best fight scene of the year, goes to… Dawn of the Planet of the Apes!

The Dragonite Award, for best film featuring a dragon, goes to… How To Train Your Dragon 2!

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Award, for best music scene in a film, goes to… Whiplash!

The Star Fox Award, for best barrel roll in a movie, goes to… Guardians of the Galaxy!

The Honorary Birdo Award, for best film with the word ‘Bird’ in its name, goes to… Birdman!
