Army of Two is getting some new downloadable content this week. Coming this Thursday, April 24 to the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store is the Security and Strategy Corporation Challenge mode and map pack. It’ll introduce the all-new SSC Challenge multiplayer mode — two teams of two compete head-to-head through an obstacle course in a tag-team race for the fastest time and most cash — and four new maps to play said SSC Challenge mode on. The add-on pack will cost $7.50 (or 600 Microsoft Points).

“We want to support our fans with new content that delivers on the two-man gameplay but with a unique twist,” says Alain Tascan, VP and General Manager of EA Montreal and Executive Producer of ARMY OF TWO. “The SSC Challenge gives players a chance to test their skills in a different setting while retaining the action packed co-op intensity that gamers have come to expect in ARMY OF TWO.”
