The PSP version of Army of Two: The 40th Day continues to look mighty impressive in this new trailer outlining the major gameplay features, aside from the disappointing fact that the co-op will be limited to ad hoc. As indicated at the end of the trailer, a PSP demo is also due for release via the PSN Store on January 7th in North America and January 14th in Europe.

The worst part was that it almost felt like they were BRAGGING about the list of rather pedestrian features … 🙁
I don’t know, just seemed like a typical game trailer to me. I think it looks really cool, just sucks it won’t have online co-op.
Yeah, pretty typical looking, but compared with other top-down shooters it really seems to bring little to the table.
Which is also fine … not every game needs to be innovative, it is often great to see some pure execution excellence.
I just found it interesting / annoying that the trailer had a PSP screen that took up ~20% of the video area, and proclaimed things that are not out of the ordinary. OK, maybe it was more the small screen thing – if it is all about gameplay execution, show me that in more detail, y’know?
