Atlus USA has a neat little contest in progress that any of you aspiring storytellers will surely want to get in on. In anticipation of the upcoming release of Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard for the DS, Atlus has started a thread on its official message board asking fans of the series to work together to pen a new storyline. After Atlus’ starting point, forum posters continue the story on their own, one at a time, with individual 200-word-max posts, and it just keeps building from there. The contest has been underway since Wednesday, but it’ll be carrying on until 5:30 PM PDT on Tuesday, May 13th, so there’s still ample time to contribute. And you’ll want to participate because the prize is a good one. Once the contest closes, Atlus will judge the work of those who contributed and reward the best storyteller a free copy of the official Etrian Odyssey II 3-disc soundtrack!
