Atari Unleashes The Witcher

TheWitcher.jpgThe year of The Witcher is now officially upon us, right in time for Halloween. Atari has announced today that The Witcher, the long-in-the-making, uber-cool PC RPG from Polish development studio CD Projekt RED, has shipped out across North America and is available in stores for $49.95. Penned by best-selling Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher puts players into the role of a troubled and reluctant hero named Geralt on an adventure through a dark and unique fantasy universe. If you’re an RPG fan, you’ll want to hit up your local game vender and buy a copy ASAP.

“The Witcher is an unbelievably robust and exciting role-playing game that offers an intense world, unbelievable graphics, and an incredible story-line,” said Lawrence Liberty, Producer, Atari, Inc. “Atari is eager to deliver with CD Projekt RED this outstanding game that strives to set new standards within the genre.”
