Bastion’s Surprise iPad Release Imminent

Supergiant Games’ glorious indie action-RPG, Bastion, is getting a remastered iPad port. Surprise, surprise — it’s coming out tomorrow, August 30th! (Or you can buy it right now, if you live in New Zealand.)

Bastion for iPad is the same game that has already wowed many PC and XBLA gamers over the past year, retooled with a new interface optimized for touch control. It’ll cost you just $4.99, although you will need a second- or third-generation iPad to play it. It won’t work on first-gen iPads. Supergiant elaborates more in a full FAQ over at the studio website.

Now, if only they’d make a damn PSN version already, with Cross Buy for PS3 and Vita! Hey, I’m allowed to dream of things that will never happen, aren’t I? That’s what dreams are for.
