Batman: Arkham Asylum Trailer Spotlights FreeFlow Combat, Softens Blow of the Game’s Delay

For the most part, Batman: Arkham Asylum has been hyped as more of a stealth game, but action will be a big part of the experience as well. For those in doubt, here’s some video proof that the game will have plenty of beat-’em-up action to compliment the sneaky bits.

Unfortunately, the bad news is Batman: Arkham Asylum has been delayed from June 23rd to an undisclosed date at the “end of summer 2009.” The delay seems odd due to the amount of closing-stretch hype Eidos and WB have been generating over the past month, an indication that the game was near completion. As long as the extra time results in a more polished game, though, I have no complaints.
