Batman, hands already full with the Joker, The Riddler and Gotham’s other goons and gangsters, now has two more villains and another potential love interest to contend with in Arkham City.
As revealed this morning in a new trailer from Comic-Con (above), Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, AKA — The Penguin, and Solomon Grundy have joined the cast of villains the Dark Knight must square off against in his follow-up adventure to Arkham Asylum.
Talia al Ghul, estranged daughter of Ra’s al Ghul, has also been confirmed as a lead character in the game, and Stana Katic, star actress from ABC’s TV series Castle, will lend her voice to the role. What Talia’s role in the game is exactly has not yet been revealed, but that makes sense since she has always been portrayed as a fairly complex character. The interesting thing to see now will be whether or not Talia’s appearance means Ra’s will be showing his face as a new villain. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
This is what Talia and her hot actress counterpart look like.
This game is looking better and better everyday. Hope there are more characters to come. I can’t wait for October to arrive.
