Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Set for Deluxe Reopening on PC and Consoles

Last year’s Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, the 3DS and Vita 2.5D Metroidvania title from Armature Studio, is set to reopen in North America on April 1st (no joke) in a shiny new Deluxe Edition digital download for PS3, Steam, Wii U and Xbox 360. (Which reminds me that I still need to crack open the Vita version I got as a Christmas gift over the holidays but haven’t had a chance to play.)

$19.99 will get you the same game at a cheaper price point, including some additional perks like HD graphics, 5.1 surround sound, new Batman costume skins and an improved map and hint system. So, if you were curious about Blackgate but didn’t own a Nintendo or Sony portable device to play it on, you’ll soon get the chance to see what you’ve been missing.
