Batman Goes All WWE Tag Team Wrestling With Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman in Arkham Knight

A new trailer is in today for Batman: Arkham Knight, introducing the game’s “Dual Play” mechanic. Thanks to the Dual Play feature, during FreeFlow Combat players will be able to switch between The Dark Knight and sidekicks like Catwoman, Nightwing, and of course, Robin for some tandem throw downs.

Examples from the video show Batman sneaking up on a bad guy and holding him in place for Robin to club in the face, Robin returning the favor by tossing a dude into the air for Batman to catch into a leaping body slam, and Batman punching a robot directly into a kick from Catwoman, among others.

Basically, Dual Play is just a fancy buzzword for saying that Batman: Arkham Knight has tag-team superhero wrestling moves. The style’s a bit over the top for my tastes, but I’m at least glad to see that Batman will have some friends around to help him take on Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight.
