Batman’s Arkham Origins Revealed

Last week’s exceedingly brief Batman: Arkham Origins teaser is greatly expanded upon in today’s release of the full official trailer, a nearly five minute CGI spectacle featuring the Dark Knight and Deathstroke engaged in an epic superhero vs. supervillain showdown. Yes, the entire trailer is pre-rendered, so unfortunately no gameplay footage to see here. The included half a dozen screenshots are your only taste of in-game action for now.

And speaking of Deathstroke, Warner Bros. has confirmed that the DC Comics assassin will appear as a playable character in the game’s challenge mode. Pre-ordering the game on PC, PS3 or Xbox 360 will score you early access to the Deathstroke pack, which will include two bonus challenge mode maps as well as two alternate costumes for the mercenary.

Batman: Arkham Origins launches worldwide on October 25th for PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360, with the standalone 3DS/Vita companion game Blackgate to ship on the same day.
