BioShock 2 gets its first DLC of (hopefully) worthwhile substance next week on August 31st with the release of Minerva’s Den on PS3 and Xbox 360 (no word on a date for the PC version).

Minerva’s Den, carrying a price of $9.99 / 800 MS Points, is a self-contained, story-driven, single-player expansion pack that puts players back into the suit of a Big Daddy and has them explore Rapture Central Computing to uncover new secrets about the dilapidated underwater utopia. The DLC will also feature new weapons and a new Plasmid to take into battle against a terrifying new breed of Splicer.

Anyone else excited to revisit the world of Rapture once more?
