BioShock 2 Launch Dates Set

Here’s a quickie (but goodie) news bit regarding the release of BioShock 2. 2K Games has confirmed that the sequel to one of this generation’s finest games will launch at retail on October 30th internationally and November 3rd here in North America. And as far as what’s been announced thus far, the launch will be simultaneous across PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this time, unlike the original’s timed exclusivity on PC and 360.

I actually just finished my fourth play through of the first game Tuesday night (played it twice apiece on 360 and PS3) and got the coveted Platinum Trophy. I’m also planning on doing some form of retrospective before the sequel drops, so keep an eye out for that in the coming months.
