BioShock Infinite Sky-Lines Onto Store Shelves This October

Elizabeth isn’t sad; she’s crying tears of joy, as I’m sure you will be now that 2K Games and Irrational Games have confirmed local and international launch dates for BioShock Infinite.

The next installment in the BioShock franchise, the first to leave the underwater utopia of Rapture for the sky-bound city of Columbia, is officially a go for a North American launch of October 16th on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Internationally, it’ll ship October 19th.

Irrational’s tale about Booker DeWitt and his AI companion, Elizabeth, once again promises a revolution in FPS action storytelling, with a mix of familiar BioShock gameplay, new Sky-Line aerial battles and city travel, and an immersive atmosphere.

PS3 players will get the added bonuses of PlayStation Move functionality and the original BioShock as an on-disc bonus.
