BioShock PS3 Ship Date Set: Rapture Comes to Life on Sony’s Console October 21st

2K Games’ PS3 version of BioShock has been given an official ship date today. The genetically augmented port in collaborative development by four studios — 2K Marin, 2K Boston, 2K Australia and Digital Extremes — is set to ship on October 21st in North America and the 24th for the rest of the world, bringing with it Trophy support, a brutal new Survivor difficulty setting, and exclusive Challenge Rooms to be added via downloadable content post launch. 2K has also relaunched the BioShock website at www.bioshockgame.com in anticipation of the new PS3 version.
