Brave: A Warrior’s Tale, the enhanced port/successor to 2007 PS2 title Brave: The Search for Spirit Dancer, is set to arrive this summer for Wii and Xbox 360, SouthPeak recently confirmed. A PSP version of the Native American platformer was also supposed to be in the works when the game was first announced at last year’s E3, but after not seeing mention of it in this new trailer I questioned SouthPeak PR about it and was told the PSP version has been “put on hold indefinitely.” That’s too bad, I was really excited to try it on my PSP. Hopefully SouthPeak decides to go back to it after the console versions are done.

That is unfortunate, but the PSP version is likely doomed as the game looks fun but seems unlikely to get either huge sales or great review scores …
Agreed. And given the game’s niche appeal I’m wondering if SouthPeak is thinking about taking it the PSN-only route, and that’s why it’s on hold. Probably not, but it’s a possibility.
