Call of Cthulhu Will Make You Question Your Own Sanity

I’d still love to see some actual gameplay footage to get a clearer idea of how its blend of stealth, horror, investigation, and RPG mechanics come together, but from its new “Depths of Madness” trailer Cyanide’s psychological thriller Call of Cthulhu sure appears to be dead on point in terms of delivering authentic Lovecraftian atmosphere and immersion. The high quality of the voice acting alone has my hopes high for at least a compelling story to follow.

Call of Cthulhu is due out sometime this year on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. This sure looks like a dark fantasy world I’ll enjoy sinking into, even if it drives me insane.
