If you can somehow manage to sit through the long, boring hours of the NFL Draft on ESPN this weekend, you’ll be in for a treat, as Activision and Infinity Ward are set to give the worldwide reveal of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare during the draft which goes live on Saturday, April 28th at 10AM PDT / 1PM EDT, confirming recent rumors of an April 28th unveil in the process. It’d be nice to know a general time frame of when to expect the reveal given the fact that the NFL Draft is so damn long and almost completely unwatchable for me (and I’m a huge NFL/sports fan), but alas no time has been given. If you manage to catch the reveal this weekend, drop in and let us know what you thought of it.

I won’t be watching the draft just for this, but I’ll catch the trailer when it shows up on the net.
I’m kind of anticipating this one, too. I like CoD, as it has never genuinely sucked too bad…when Infinity Ward is working on it. So this one should really surprise us…I hope.
Activision will release the trailer online by Monday I’m sure, so I’ll be waiting until it hits the net as well.
I’m hoping it’ll be good. CoD3 was a fun game, but you could just tell that it wasn’t developed by Infinity Ward.
Well, despite the shoddy graphics on Wii…I preferred the control scheme on Nintendo’s machine compared to anything else! It was the most like playing on PC…even though there were a ton of people that complained about it being too twitchy. I never had problems except for the small learning curve in the beginning of the game. Better controls than Red Steel, at least, LOL.
See, I didn’t care for the Wii version at all, I liked Red Steel a lot better myself (except for the cruddy sword combat stuff). I didn’t think the controls were twitchy necessarily, I just didn’t think the motion recognition was all on point- I don’t think it was close to PC controls at all. I also couldn’t put up with the dirt dumb AI, between ally soldiers getting in the way and the enemies not reacting to you for a few seconds so you could line them up. Honestly, I thought the muddy graphics hurt the gameplay too. The textures were so drab and blurry that it just made the action in the game hard to see at times.
Right now I am playing through the new PSP Call of Duty game and even though the controls on that are a bit loose, I must say I’m liking it MUCH better than any of the CoD3 releases. As a PSP game it looks better than the Wii version too, which is kinda sad for the Wii lol.
Like I said, I think I’m the one person on this planet that liked it on the Wii and HATED Red Steel. I mean, I regret ever getting that game when the Wii launched. I should’ve just stuck with Zelda (which I still don’t own).
