Call of Duty 4 PC Demo Now Available

Call of Duty 4

The single-player PC demo for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, weighing in at 1.37 GB, is now recruiting eager gamers with itchy trigger fingers over at CharlieOscarDelta.com. The demo offers one playable mission, “The Bog,” and shows off some of the game’s new weapons and other “modern warfare” trappings, jaw-dropping visuals, phenomenal audio and series-standard warfare intensity. Just finished giving it a quick once-through and I must say I’m pretty blown away (as if that wasn’t expected). Having already experienced the bliss of the 360 multiplayer beta, I was super antsy to see how the single-player side was shaping up — since I’m more of the solo gamer type to begin with — and now after experiencing some of the campaign firsthand I can clearly confirm CoD4 as living up to its Game of the Year-caliber hype and potential. Now it’s time to kick back and wait and see how the full campaign comes together.
