Ubisoft and Techland have joined forces once again on the development of a follow-up to their Wild West FPS Call of Juarez. Bound in Blood, as the game has been subtitled, is actually a prequel to the original game following the McCall brothers through “an intense Wild West storyline full of greed, lust and lawlessness.” Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood will be released sometime this year for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, and well… that’s the extent of what’s been announced thus far. Presumably the game will be powered by Techland’s proprietary Chrome Engine 4 tech.

“Call of Juarez® was well received by gamers and critics,” said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft. “We’re confident this new collaboration with Techland will bring an even bigger and better adventure to fans of shooters and the lawless Wild West.”
