Back at its Gamer’s Day event in April, Capcom announced the acquisition of the PlayStation format MotoGP racing series and revealed plans to publish MotoGP 07 for the PS2 this fall, but didn’t really give any actual game information beyond that. That has changed today, however, with Capcom detailing the game’s features.
In development at Italian dev studio Milestone, MotoGP 07 is an officially licensed MotoGP game containing all of the bikes, tracks, riders and teams from the sport’s 2007 season. The game will also feature Quick Race, Time Attack, Challenge, Multiplayer and Championship play modes, a diverse selection of riding models to adjust to meet your skill level, adjustable opponent AI behavioral models, realistic weather effects for extra challenge, accurate physics models and authentic motorbike sound effects.
Additional details will also be announced in the months to come. While we wait for new info to emerge, browse through these latest MotoGP 07 screenshots:
