Hitch a Free Cab Ride With Mario in NYC Thursday

Mario.jpg New York commuters take notice. In an interesting launch promotion for the upcoming release of Mario Kart Wii, the Nintendo mascot himself, Mario will be picking up commuters and treating them to free cab rides on Thursday, April 24th. Mario will be providing his cabbie duties during two two-hour time slots — 8-10 AM and 12-2 PM — at the Sheraton Hotel on 811 7th Ave., between 52nd and 53rd streets. So if you’re in NYC Thursday and need a lift at that location, keep an eye out for an Italian plumber behind the wheel and you’ll be in for a free ride!
