Yeah, so GDC has been over for about two weeks now, but CDV just recently uploaded a massive online press kit for Sacred 2: Fallen Angel from the event and there was simply so much cool shit in there I had to post it all up, even if it’s all a bit after the fact. If you’ve been reading throughout the evening, you’ll have noticed four posts containing various assets from the press kit, including a sweet new trailer, a super-cool series of render videos showing off in-engine creature models, a gallery packed full of screenshots, concept artwork and monster render stills, and a collection of wallpapers you can download and decorate your desktop with. If you haven’t checked those out, click through the links below and see why Sacred 2 is one of the top PC and Xbox 360 games to keep your eye on this year.

Microsoft’s inaugural Xbox Live Arcade Awards winners have been announced today, and after ballots were tallied up these are the games 26,000+ participating voters selected as the best of the best (save for the last four winners, those were selected based on sales data, review scores, etc.):

-Best Original Game: “Pac-Man: Championship Edition” (NAMCO BANDAI Games)
-Best Family-Friendly Game: “Pac-Man: Championship Edition” (NAMCO BANDAI Games)

-Highest-Rated Game: “Castlevania: Symphony of the Night” (Konami Digital Entertainment)
-Xbox LIVE Arcade Staff Choice: “Pac-Man: Championship Edition” (NAMCO BANDAI Games)
Apparently, most XBLA users dig the classics, what with Pac-Man, Bomberman and Castlevania receiving so much of the attention. Kind of a shame if you ask me, Alien Hominid and Super Puzzle Fighter II should’ve won at least a little something…
