Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Contest Offers Trip to Sin City, Xbox 360 Elite

MLG, Ubisoft Team Up For Rainbow Six Vegas 2

Major League Gaming and Ubisoft recently announced that they will be collaborating to bring Rainbow Six Vegas 2 to MLG’s 2008 Pro Circuit, beginning with a launch event for the title in April. The two have also teamed up on the development of a special MLG-themed multiplayer map, and as you can see from the accompanying screenshots, the map takes place at a MLG Pro Circuit event at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 still doesn’t have an official ship date as of yet, I don’t believe, but is scheduled to come out by month’s end for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

“We were thrilled that Ubisoft chose MLG to collaborate on the development of a map specially designed for competitive gamers,” said Matthew Bromberg, President and CEO of Major League Gaming. “Rainbow Six was a terrific addition to our Pro Circuit last year, and we can’t wait to turn our millions of Pro Circuit, online and TV fans onto this new game.”

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Extended CG Trailer

A new trailer for Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has just been released by Ubisoft. It’s actually an extended version of the CG teaser that surfaced late last year (check that out at the game’s site linked above), boasting a good additional minute of footage. It’s all CG of course, so still no in-game action to see, but it’s well worth a view nonetheless. Plenty of pre-rendered thrills to see here, that’s for sure. Love the music too.
