THQ Announces Ratatouille Videogame http://www.vgblogger.com/thq-announces-ratatouille-videogame/215/ Tue, 07 Nov 2006 00:07:56 +0000 http://www.vgblogger.com/?p=215 RatatouilleHeader.JPG

In what has to be the most expansive cross-platform game project ever, THQ has announced the development of Ratatouille, a new game following the story and characters of the upcoming Disney.Pixar movie of the same name set to hit theaters in Summer 2007 (when the game will also be released globally). What’s astounding is the fact that the game is being developed for 11 different platforms, including the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, PSP, GameCube, GBA, DS, PC, Mac and mobile devices. Wow, that’s a ton of versions for one game, hopefully THQ’s Heavy Iron Studios (the team heading the project) can handle the load and hopefully it’s a good game with so much money and effort clearly going into it.

“Disney.Pixar films have consistently captivated audiences of all ages with their imaginative and memorable characters, visually stunning animation, and unparalleled story-telling,” said Kelly Flock, executive vice president of worldwide publishing, THQ. “THQ has shipped more than 25 million units of Disney.Pixar video games to date, illustrating the success of our long-standing relationship and dedication to the Disney.Pixar business.”
