Amazon Pre-Orders Available For Ratchet & Clank Series 1 Action Figures

Via Twitter, Insomniac Games today announced the availability of Ratchet & Clank Series 1 action figure pre-orders at Amazon.com. Series 1 includes four different action figure bundles to choose from, each priced at $19.99. There’s standard Ratchet with a Transforming Clank, Dr. Nefarious with Zoni, Armored Ratchet with Mr. Zurkon, and Captain Qwark with Scrunch.

The Series 1 action figure collection is scheduled to roll out on December 9th, so you’ve got plenty of time to make your reservations. Or, if you’ve been a good little boy/girl, you can add them to your holiday wish list and hope Santa has them waiting for you under your Christmas tree.

Per this new launch trailer, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters‘ PS2 port is officially set to ship on March 11th. I guess we’ll find out next week if size really does matter…

Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters – First PS2 Screens

SCEA STILL hasn’t given any official announcement regarding the Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters PS2 port, but we do know for a fact that it’s coming. First there was that PlayStation Underground newsletter confirming as much last month, and now the first screenshots have arrived to seal the deal (oh, and the official US PlayStation site now has a listing for it as well). The screens are pretty small, so it’s hard to see if there are any graphical improvements over the PSP, but from what I can tell it doesn’t look any different. And according to the website listing, it doesn’t appear as if the PS2 version will have any significant new content either.

PSU Confirms Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters PS2 Port

Late last year, rumor of a PS2 port of the PSP hit Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters emerged based on a listing of the title at Gamestop/EBgames. While Sony still hasn’t made an official announcement on the subject, the PS2 port is most definitely on the way, as the latest PlayStation Underground newsletter that just went out this evening reveals. Swinging back by EBgames.com, Size Matters for the PS2 is listed for a March 11th release for $29.99. That price is probably accurate, but I wouldn’t bank on the date quite yet. An official press release announcing the game probably isn’t too far off, so stay tuned…
