CDV Announces Alien Shooter: Vengeance

alienshooter_2Dboxshot.jpgCDV Software Entertainment USA has announced North American release plans for Alien Shooter: Vengeance for the PC, the follow-up to 2002’s Alien Shooter from Russian indie developer Sigma Team. Set for a release on January 22, 2007, Alien Shooter: Vengeance is a fast-paced, hack-n-slash-style action game set in an expansive sci-fi world engulfed in war. The game will feature Campaign, Survival and Multiplayer modes, and promises dozens of gadets and alien-shredding weapons, multiple playable character types to choose from and a skill-tree character progression system for some addictive RPGing. My old-school dungeon crawling heart is aflutter already!

No screenshots or media have been released just yet (other than the above boxart shot), but as soon as we can get some in we’ll be back to post them up.
