Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena Still Alive, Actually Almost Finished

I’ve been wondering what’s going on with The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena for a while now, even more so since the Activision/Blizzard merger left most of Sierra’s titles floating in the wind. Finally, though, an answer, vague as it may be, has been given. According to the admin over at the official Starbreeze forum, Dark Athena is actually “just about done” and the “big boys are deciding who is going to publish it.” I know, not much to go on there, but it’s a whole lot better than the absolute NOTHING we’ve heard about the game for over a year now. Simply knowing that the game is still in development and nearing completion is good enough news for me at this point. It’ll be very interesting to see who takes on the publishing duties next.
