Count Down to Christmas with the Dead Island Advent Calendar

DeadIslandChristmasCalendar.jpg

Happy December 1st everyone! Thanksgiving and Black Friday have passed, and the countdown to Christmas is officially underway. Time to break out your family’s favorite advent calendar and tick off the days until jolly ol’ Santa Claus drops down your chimney and leaves a sweet gaming treat under the Christmas tree.

Don’t have an advent calendar? No problem. Deep Silver has launched its own Dead Island themed Christmas calendar, and every day between now and December 25th there will be a new puzzle or trivia question to complete. Just create a log-in or sign in with your Facebook or Google account to participate.

Goodies will be given out for correct answers (the first day’s reward is a Dead Island desktop wallpaper), and bonus puzzles will go down each Sunday with special prizes up for grabs, including a collection of 10 classic zombie flicks on Blu-Ray, an airbrushed Dead Island PS3 console, and a 46″ Sony Bravia 3D HDTV. Completing these Sunday puzzles will also provide hints for completing the final puzzle on the 25th, with the ultimate grand prize being a week-long vacation to a tropical island and an airbrushed Dead Island Xbox 360 console.
