Crytek’s Gladiator Action Game Ryses on Kinect

At last year’s E3, Crytek, the makers of the original Far Cry and the Crysis series, teased an Xbox 360 exclusive game codenamed Kingdoms with a live action trailer. This year the game, now officially dubbed Ryse, has been given the full reveal treatment as a first-person Kinect action game that will have players fighting through the fall of Rome, using one arm as a sword and the other as a shield, with headbutts to the face and kicks to the gut also a helpful fighting tactic thanks to the full-body motion tracking. Here’s the full debut trailer as shown during the Microsoft E3 press briefing.
