Damnation Dev Walkthrough Vids

You know, I really, REALLY want to get excited for Damnation. The whole verticality concept is so cool, as is the game’s steampunk style. But the gameplay just isn’t doing anything for me from what’s been shown thus far. Take these two new walkthrough videos, one demoing solo play, one demoing multiplayer. I hear the narrator talking so much about how fast, frenetic and fluid the game is, yet what I see looks pretty slow and clunky. I don’t know what to believe. The footage is marked as work in progress, so hopefully it was recorded from an early build and Blue Omega has a smoother build they aren’t showing yet. We’ll find out soon enough, should the game remain on track for its December launch of course.
