Following up on the unveil of Dawn of War II‘s system requirements earlier in the week, THQ has now announced official plans for the game’s multiplayer beta test. The beta for Relic Entertainment’s next surefire RTS hit will roll out in two phases hosted via Steam. On January 21st, all owners of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Soulstorm will gain exclusive early beta access. Then the following week on January 28th the beta will open up to the public worldwide. All those who are able to participate in the beta will get to test out all four of the game’s playable races, five multiplayer maps and Microsoft’s Games for Windows – LIVE TrueSkill Matchmaking system.
