The uber-augmented Director’s Cut re-release of Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be out on store shelves on October 22nd, Square Enix confirmed today. Well, it will be for PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360. A Mac version will follow “in the near future.”

Buying any one of the console versions on the Square Enix Online Store will come with the added benefit of a free gift with purchase copy of Deus Ex: Fallen Angel, a new prequel novella by James Swallow, the same writer who penned The Icarus Effect.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will also feature optional second screen integration via PlayStation Vita and SmartGlass, respectively. It’ll be interesting to see how closely those two platforms are able to pull off the touch screen elements native to the Wii U.
