Dragon’s Dogma Launches in May, Resident Evil 6 Demo Download Code Included

Capcom’s slipping-under-the-radar open world action title Dragon’s Dogma, developed by the creators of Resident Evil 4 and Devil May Cry 4, is officially on for a late spring launch, ushering in the hot summer months ahead with a May 22nd date with North American retailers (May 25th in Europe). Scroll on down to the bottom of the page for the new story trailer.

In an obvious effort to drum up hype for the title, Capcom has also announced that it will be stuffing new Dragon’s Dogma copies with download tokens for a Resident Evil 6 playable demo to be released at a later time. The demo won’t be on the disc. Bummer, I know.

Xbox 360 customers get first dibs on the demo, with access scheduled to open via the Xbox Live Marketplace starting July 3rd. Those who buy the PS3 version will have to hang on to their codes for two whole months as the demo won’t be hitting the PlayStation Network until September 4th.

Either platform, console gamers will have ample time to try the demo before the full game drops on November 20th.
