DualPenSports Comes Bundled With Two Sporty Styli

According to the final packaging released by Namco Bandai this week, 3DS sports game DualPenSports will ship with a pair of “sports styluses” inside the box. From the cover shot, the styli look like they may be mini baseball bats, but it’s a cartoony diagram so it’s hard to tell if they’re actually meant to look like some form of sporting equipment.

Either way, the ‘styli included’ bundle idea is smart on Namco Bandai’s part considering the main point of the game is competing in various athletic competitions using a stylus in each hand. And I don’t know about you, but I’ve always gotten a kick out of collecting styli for my old DS. Now it may be time to start a new 3DS collection!

Oh, and before I go – here is a new Training Mode gameplay video showing how the dual-stylus controls work in the game’s seven main sports events, including basketball, boxing, skiing, soccer, archery, baseball and parachuting. Very Wii Sports-esque for sure. Should be fun!
