2K Games has finally provided a bit more info pertaining to the extra content 2K Marin, 2K Boston, 2K Australia and Digital Extremes are working into the PS3 version of BioShock. Via a fact sheet provided in 2K’s E3 press materials (which you can read after the break), BioShock for PS3 will feature a new Survivor difficulty mode, Trophy support and exclusive downloadable content that will be released following the game’s launch in October. What this exclusive DLC is being kept under wraps for the time being, but if you’ve watched the debut gameplay trailer and look through the screenshots below you’ll notice an area that wasn’t in the original game: Rapture’s Grand Carnival. Whatever this carnival place is has to be what’ll make up the bonus DLC. Just look at the file names for the three screens that show the carnival (I left them as 2K provided), their titles contain the label “DLC”.
