The DS has seen a few music creation/training apps in the past, like Electroplankton and Rhythm N’ Notes, but nothing as hardcore as this. XSEED Games is finally coming around to publishing for the DS, and one of its first titles for Nintendo’s portable will be KORG DS-10, a professional grade music creation tool based on the real KORG MS-10 music synthesizer. Due on store shelves this fall, KORG DS-10 will feature two patchable dual-oscillator analog synth simulators, a four-part drum machine, a six-track/16-step sequencer, delay, chorus and flanger mixing board sound effects, touch-control screen, keyboard screen and matrix screen note-entry options, and sound sources straight from KORG. Better still, up to eight players will be able to link up wirelessly and create music together or share their own musical creations. How fucking sweet is that!?
