[E3 2008] Introducing Lips, Microsoft’s Answer to SingStar

Not a karaoke guy myself, but if you are into the whole making an ass out of yourself through song thing then Lips is sure to be the game for you. Microsoft has iNiS, the famed creators of my beloved Gitaroo Man and the DS classic Elite Beat Agents, heading development on its 360-exclusive SingStar rival, so you know it’ll be of the highest quality even if it is a far more mainstream brand of music game compared to iNiS’ typically bizarre and quirky rhythm games. Being able to hook up a Zune, iPod or presumably any other MP3 player to sing from your personal song collection is a nifty feature too. Lips sings its way onto store shelves for Xbox 360 this holiday season. Debut trailer and gameplay clip await your viewing.
