[E3 2009] Splinter Cell: Conviction Impresses, Big Time

For me, the only game that really blew me away during Microsoft’s E3 presser was Splinter Cell: Conviction. Dig the new almost Bourne-style pacing, and maybe it’s just me, but Sam Fisher as a character is starting to take on qualities of Jack Bauer. Anyway, I’m absolutely loving the look and feel of the new Splinter Cell. Watch the two new videos — one’s a CG trailer, the other is a condensed gameplay video of what was shown in the live demo — and see what you think of Sam Fisher’s latest. Splinter Cell: Conviction will be out this fall on Xbox 360 and PC (it seems there may even be a DS version, so it’s not totally 360 exclusive).
