[E3 2010] These Are the First Nintendo 3DS Games

3DSGames.jpg

For all of its fancy new hardware upgrades, the Nintendo 3DS will only be as special as its game library dictates. Fortunately, from this early list of in-development 3DS games, the handheld has a strong software lineup to help get it off and running with a bang. It disturbs me somewhat that many of the big games are “3D” remakes of older games, which seems a bit uninspired to me for what’s positioned to be such a revolutionary portable. But you can really never go wrong with remade classics, so I can live with it as long as there’s enough quality original content to accompany the rehashes.

Hit the jump for the list of confirmed 3DS games currently in development. Not listed is the 3DS remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which has since been confirmed after this list was released.
